eden appointed by global HR & recruitment giant

The eden team is very pleased to announce that we have been appointed to lead the UK PR and social media strategy and delivery for Gi Group, one of the world’s leading and largest HR companies.

We were selected as the communications agency of choice by Gi Group following the business’s acquisition of Encore Personnel in October 2022. Encore was a long-standing client of ours, having worked with the business since 2017, and the Encore Board recommended our agency to its new owner.

Gi Group is one of the world’s leading companies that provides the best services for the development of the labour market. The business is active in temporary recruitment, permanent and professional staffing, search and selection, executive search, outsourcing, training, outplacement and HR consultancy. Present in more than 100 countries, through its key brands the company provides a full and comprehensive suite of recruitment and HR solutions to more than 20,000 businesses worldwide, generating revenues of €3.2 billion, and making it both the fifth largest recruitment and HR Services company in Europe and the 16th largest worldwide.

Having decades of experience working in the recruitment PR sector, particularly in spotlighting the excellent work of Encore’s teams across the Midlands and beyond, eden is perfectly placed to add value in communicating Gi Group’s impressive reputation to both loyal and emerging target audiences alike.

Director and Head of New Business at eden PR, Emily Winsor-Russell, said:

“Having been selected to lead the PR and social media strategy and delivery for Gi Group in the UK is a monumental account win for our agency – and we couldn’t be more delighted.

“Our team has been fully immersed, for almost a decade, in the PR approach for Encore, as an embedded part of the business’s marketing and communications department – and so we know the recruitment sector inside out. We are brimming with ideas and campaign designs for Gi Group and have started as we mean to go on, securing a raft of media coverage detailing the Encore acquisition, a prestigious award win and a demographic trend piece in the first month of our partnership alone.

“We’re delighted that we will continue to work closely with the Encore Board as they settle into their new roles as part of the Gi Group family and we’re poised to maximise our excellent relationships with journalists and stakeholders as we elevate Gi Group’s narrative through a bespoke, targeted and cohesive PR and communications strategy.”

Mark Tuban, Group Marketing Director at Gi Group, said: “We’ve been consistently impressed by and delighted with the PR approach and results delivered by Emily and the team at eden. Thanks to their excellent contacts; in-depth knowledge of our sector; and considered, well-researched content suggestions and media relations approach, we know that we are increasingly becoming a ‘go-to’ for commentary in our sector. Eden is the ideal PR partner for Gi Group because we can trust them to deliver an exceptional PR strategy that will turn heads in a crowded marketplace while at the same time being a pleasure to work with. The future for Gi Group is bright and we know that with Eden’s support, we will be able to share our teams’ successes—as well as our industry-leading knowledge, observations, and learnings—far and wide for the benefit of our customers, candidates, and the wider workforce.”
